Walking a Mile to Raise Funds for Autism

Our Walk for Autism at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland on Monday 2nd April to mark World Autism Awareness Day was a great success. Even through the weather wasn’t on our side we had a brilliant turn out with in excess of 400 people taking part in the event.

To celebrate and mark World Autism Awareness Day the Society is holding a ‘Walk for Autism’ event in partnership with the Sunderland AFC Foundation on Monday 2nd April from 2-4pm at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland.

NEAS Community Services have successfully been running for three years and to mark the event they are planning a birthday celebration called ‘Fab Friday’. The event takes place on Friday 2nd September at Thornhill School, Thornholme Road in Sunderland, from 10am – 3pm.
